Yes ..come on down. We don't discuss prices online.
Both the area and the venue are safe. It is busy, with lots of people around at all hours!
I’ve noticed a jump in a lot of places that offers mediocre overpriced food to a certain demographic of people that might be afraid to go into the hood for good food, and this is definitely one of them. Tacos are way too overpriced for the mediocre tacos and extra watery salsa, I’ve definitely have had better for half the price. But it’s cute for the “downtown aesthetic” I guess.
Pretty decent tacos. This place has a lot of hype so I was expecting more.
Looking for a taco spot that takes the tortilla as seriously as the ingredients? Revolver shoots a bullseye... making every tortilla fresh and by hand for every order. The tortilla is warm, light, and substantial enough to hold everything together. This is the first place I’ve found that makes the tortillas fresh per order, and it was excellent. I’ll be back for another pastor taco, or 10.
In from out of town to catch up with a great friend and stopped in on a whim. The tacos were great. Not your typical menu here. They do have more exotic tacos, but they do have a couple of staples meats if your not feeling adventurous. The staff is very engaging and friendly. The hot sauce has kick, but it's very good. The food is a tad bit more on the pricey side, bit it's worth it. My friend ordered a lobster taco, and that was surprisingly delicious. Not a lot of room inside, so it's really not made to 'hang' out in. Perfect for eating a few tacos, having a drink or two, and moving on. The area reminded me of Hyde Park back in Chicago. It's pretty active and has a lot of bars and small restaurants around...trendy is a word that comes to mind. If I lived local, I'd drop in frequently. I liked the ambience and area.
I'd read and heard good things about Revolver Taco over in Fort Worth, so when I learned they had opened in Deep Ellum, I had to give them a try.So after several visits over the last couple of months, I've concluded that...I love it.They have a great menu selection, well beyond the staples of most taco places. The meats are above average in quality. Some of the "regular" tacos include;Carna Asada - Black Angus beefAl Pastor - marinated porkPescado - Baja styled fried Mani ManiThey also have the following and more.Pato - premium seared duck breastCalabatica - Mexican SquashPulto - Mediterranean Octopus carnitasCabritos - goatThe tacos come with some of the best salsas I've ever had. Each taco has its sauce or salsa which matches the flavor profile perfectly.Their street tacos are simple and full of flavor, and their gourmet tacos are outrageous!! Revolver is definitely high on my list of big flavor tacos! Tacos and cold beer! You can't beat it.
not worth the price. taste-wise ratings mean nothing. nothing looked or tasted good. big tortilla with little meat. $30 flushed. NEVER again. if you're looking for non-authentic or special tacos there are MUCH better options. velvet, torchy's etc. HELL NO!
Best Tacos in Dallas... actually maybe even in Texas. This place is amazing. Every taco is absolutely delicious. The salsa is unreal spicy sweet, it has all the notes Not much seating. Most of the seating is at one big table family style. On Tuesday they have $2 pastor tacos. Must stop by if you are in the area!
La Resistencia was so delish and special tonight
Very unique tacos. I liked how the guy who took our order offered his opinions on wjat was popular. Food came out quickly. It was yummy.
The best tacos in Dallas! We miss you all in Fort Worth, but wish you allcontinued success!
I tried these tacos today for the first time. I took a chance and looked at the reviews it had. HIGHLY disappointed in the quality of the tacos. Not only are they overpriced for their size. They are genuinely not authentic. The only authentic thing about them is the handmade tortillas. For $4+ a taco which some range as much as $15 dollars, I’d rather go to an authentic taco place where they’re priced accordingly AND they taste good. This was a waste of money. Just be weary. There’s better taco places out there.
Extraordinary Tastes + Superb Ingredients + Creative Combinations + Amazing Tortillas = Revolver Taco Lounge’s Fantastic Tacos!PATO, duck + Pulpo, octopus + Trucha, trout + Lengua, beef tongue = our favorites - also - avail only on Tuesdays RTL’s Al Pastor, pork!
I highly recommend the goat tacos. They were unbelievably tender and delicious. The Pescado taco was good too, but go for the goat! You will not regret it when it is paired with such delicious handmade tortillas.
Best street tacos I’ve tried so far in the area, the hand made tortillas are a tasty plus that you can’t compare from any other place. I recommend the “Paloma” drink it’s very refreshing.
Had the Al pastor tacos, they were a little better than average but didn't live up to the hype. Pretty expensive also so I'm not really sure about the allure to this place. It's just another hole in the wall taco shop in Dallas. Had to take a star away because I had the unfortunate pleasure of experiencing poor customer service at the window.
I ate in the bar area here. The staff were friendly. The Margaritas were excellent — so tasty! The tacos served at the bar are delicious. I had a vegetarian one, an octopus one and a beef one. They were all really good, with a unique flavour combination on each of them. You can see them freshly making the tacos while you sit and soak up the atmosphere. It has a colorful, graffiti filled , warehouse feel in the bar.
Absolutely the best tacos I have ever had! Even though it does get packed, every time I have gone the service has been quick and I have experienced great customer service. No matter which taco you try it is sure to be made fresh and full of flavor. Highly recommend this restaurant.
This place was an amazing dining experience! We went to the back private area with its own kitchen to watch our delicious meal be prepared by a lovely family. So authentic and absolutely delicious . The service was so friendly and unbelievable. I will never forget it!
Review for LA Resistencia Price and experience don’t match. The waiters acted like robots - almost comical in nature. They drop the tacos and don’t even explain the ingredients. For a 6 course meal, it’s 4 tacos, warm watermelon salad and zero flavor tres leche. Waiter had no idea what was in the other dessert offered (some type of jello and baileys). Drinks were well made, tacos were solid but for over $200 for a few tacos and drinks seems a bit excessive. Service was so strange that it ruined the night. Oh and no one there but us, tells me that maybe a change of concept is needed quickly. Oddly they also lock the front door, which I would guess is against fire code.
This place is awesome. The food was really good and the tortillas are handmade per order.
Been a fan of Revolver since they were in FW. The corn tortillas alone are worth a visit.
